Due Diligence
Due Diligence
Due diligence is an essential step in the acquisition of a business. It provides insight into the business by identifying strengths and weaknesses in the target company.

The scope of due diligence required on a potential acquisition depends on a number of factors including the industry sector and the size and nature of the target acquisition. Due diligence covers commercial considerations, financial, accounting, Health & Safety, legal, environmental, IT and HR matters, taxation (both direct and indirect), pensions, etc, etc.

Concentus has considerable commercial experience as well as extensive expertise in financial and accounting due diligence, and is therefore able to co-ordinate and project manage other specialist areas, (such as health & safety and "environmental" matters) on behalf of the client.

Two other specialist areas often overlooked are taxation and IT. At Concentus we will introduce our expertise in these areas to ensure that no problem areas are overlooked or planning opportunities missed.

Information Memoranda
Information Memoranda are structured documents providing information about a company for the purposes of raising finance or a sale.

As such, they are similar to a business plan, but the Concentus team brings all the information together in a format expected by financial institutions and investors. Concentus has the necessary skills to present a company and its plans in the most advantageous way.
